Thirty years since the release of The Zeros "4,3,2,1" recording, the band has reformed to celebrate its glory, with a reunion show at The Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood, CA. The night can best be summed up in one word, FUN! It was kinda like a time warp back to 1988. The charismatic personalities of Sammy, Danny, Joe, & Mr. Insane still intact, and as remembered. This show wasn't a band trying to find their place again, no, it was as if they never left. Rockin' all the favorites like "Show Me," "Oh Yeah," "Sticky Sweet Girls," "Society," "Do You Want Some More." They hinted at the possibility of a new Zeros record to come. Speaking with Sammy afterwards, sounds like some more shows might be in the making as well.
An honorable mention, Motorcycle Boy opened the show, and was great to see them as well. Doing songs off their "Popsicle" record from 1991. "One Punch" remains a classic trashy gem.
Hope it won't be long till we get to see these bands do it again!
